When you place an order we collect your name, confirmation that you are of legal age, delivery address, email address and telephone number, together with the contents of your basket and any delivery instructions. If you create an account we also store a password hash. Card details are entered on our payment provider’s system and are not stored on our servers; we receive only a token, the last four digits and an authorisation result.

Age verification data

Because alcohol may only be sold to adults aged 21 or over, we record that an age check took place, the method used and its outcome. Identity documents shown to a courier at the door are checked visually and are not scanned or retained by us.

Cookies and similar technologies

We use cookies that are necessary for the shopping cart, the session and checkout. Analytics and marketing cookies are optional and are described in our cookie policy; you can refuse them without losing the ability to order.

How information is shared

We share the minimum necessary with the carrier delivering your parcel, the payment provider processing your payment, and the service providers who host the site or send order emails. Retention

Order records are kept for as long as tax and alcohol record-keeping rules require, then deleted or anonymised. Marketing preferences are held until you withdraw them.
